Monica Collings OBE Chair of the UK’s National Energy Systems Operator (NESO)
Monica Collings OBE is Chair of the UK’s National Energy Systems Operator (NESO) Electricity Markets Advisory Council and of Rappor, a Non-Executive Director at Adler & Allan, and an Independent Committee Member at networks operator Northern Powergrid – governing across energy, professional services, environmental risk, and infrastructure.
She brings the standard of a former UK energy retail CEO who led £1bn-turnover energy retailer So Energy through the energy crisis and its merger with Irish owned ESB Energy. Monica was the sole female CEO of a UK domestic supplier at the time, recognized with an OBE for services to diversity in the sector and recently nominated for the Sunday Times NED Awards’ NED to Watch.
Across her portfolio, Monica is committed to amplifying customer voices in the boardroom. She advises founders and executive teams, speaks internationally on net zero, crisis leadership, and board governance, and chairs POWERful Women, working to bring the UK energy sector to 40% female representation by 2030.

Gabe Phillips, Founder, Chief Executive Officer
Gabe began his career trading electricity and gas at Sempra Energy Trading. He went on to found and ultimately sell GP Energy Management, a comprehensive outsourced trading, risk, and energy management platform for the electricity, gas, and renewables markets. Today, Gabe uses his unique perspective on the gaps in the energy industry to position Catalyst Power as a brand-new type of power company focused on bringing premium integrated energy solutions to America’s C&I market at no upfront cost.
