Keynote Speaker
Mathias Lelievre, President & CEO of ENGIE Insight
Anticipate or Wait – Leveraging the Evolving Energy State as Your Differentiator

As ENGIE Insight’s president and CEO, Mathias is a strategic leader with more than a decade of global experience in both the private and public sectors. His experience and understanding of the dynamic energy industry supports ENGIE Insight’s vision to leverage data and technology to architect the future of energy management on a global scale.

Prior to ENGIE Insight, Mathias worked for our parent company, ENGIE, as the head of its Green Mobility Program, where he harnessed ENGIE’s broad capabilities to expand the business unit’s reach around the world for the $400+ million enterprise. He also served as chief of staff for Isabelle Kocher, ENGIE’s CEO, where he was heavily involved in strategy, communication and overall transformation of the company.

Before joining ENGIE, Mathias served as advisor and then Deputy Chief of Staff of French Minister for Industry and then Economy from 2012-2014; there he was in charge of the industry, energy and mining sectors.

Mathias is trained as an engineer from the Ecole des Mines de Paris. He has completed his education with a post-graduate program from the Ecole des Mines de Paris, to become a civil servant from Corps des Mines.

Mathias and his family relocated from Paris to join ENGIE Insight, where they are enjoying exploring, visiting and hiking in the city and surroundings. He can often be found visiting an art exhibition, contemplating the beautiful natural landscape or walking down the streets of Boston.
