Kevin Greiner has served as Gas South’s President and CEO since the company’s founding in 2006. Gas South is one of the southeast’s largest energy marketers and provides natural gas to approximately 450,000 residential, commercial, and industrial customers in competitive markets in 14 states.
In December 2020, Gas South closed the acquisition of Infinite Energy, which more than doubled its annual revenues to over $1 billion and made the company the largest retail natural gas provider in Georgia and Florida. Gas South also operates a wholesale trading operation and is an owner/investor in several renewable energy projects.
Gas South’s purpose is to be a Fuel for Good by caring for its customers and employees and elevating its industry and communities. Gas South pledges to give back 5% of its profits to organizations helping children in need. The company plans to invest $50m in solar energy projects by the end of 2023 and recently introduced FlexRNGTM, which combines renewable natural gas and carbon offsets to help its customers achieve their environmental objectives.
Kevin was recognized by Georgia Trend magazine as 2021’s most respected business leader. He has also been recognized by the Atlanta Business Chronicle as one of the most admired CEOs in 2019 and 2021.
Kevin serves as a volunteer and board member with numerous non-profit organizations. His board of director responsibilities have included the YMCA of Metro Atlanta (Chairman 2021-22), the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, and the Georgia Partnership for Excellence in Education (Chairman 2017-17)
Kevin earned an MBA and MS in natural resource policy from the University of Michigan and a BA from Wesleyan University. His hobbies include playing tennis and baseball, scuba diving, and playing the keyboards. He and his wife, Robyn Roberts, have two children and live in Decatur, Georgia.
