Arizona regulators to consider ‘retail electric competition’ at Nov. 7 open meeting. Electric Industry News is reporting that the Arizona Corporation Commission has amended the agenda for its Nov. 7 open meeting to include a “possible vote on a policy regarding retail electric competition.” The agenda addition comes on the eve of today’s election in which two commission seats are up for grabs. Incumbent Justin Olson, one of three sitting commissioners who have supported reconsideration of electricity competition in the state, and fellow Republican Rodney Glassman are challenged by Democrats Sandra Kennedy and Kiana Sears.
